Announcing Divvy: The App That Won The Co.Labs And Target Retail Accelerator
We challenged developers and designers from across the country to build a new kind of retail experience on top of Target's e-commerce platform--which the company had never revealed to the public. One app impressed the judges so much that it's being fast-tracked for release under the official Target brand, netting its creators a $75,000 buyout. That app is Divvy: A social shopping tool by a seven-person group calling themselves Team Pilot. Here's how the app could change the brick-and-mortar experience for one of the nation's biggest retailers--and how the team pulled it together in less than 90 days.
